Link Group and Allianz Retire+ announce new partnership deal

• Link Group’s partnership with Allianz Retire+ provides access to a suite of next generation retirement income solutions.

26 April 2023: Link Group's Retirement and Superannuation Solutions (RSS) division and Allianz Retire+ have finalised a partnership deal that gives Link Group’s superannuation fund clients access to a suite of next generation retirement income solutions.

The Allianz Guaranteed Income for Life (AGILE) sits inside a super fund as an investment option available in the late accumulation phase and within an account-based pension, providing members with greater certainty when planning for retirement as it generates a guaranteed income for life.

AGILE is the first retirement income solution to be integrated with Link Group’s recently launched Pathfinder platform and will be available to super funds in the second half of 2023.

Link Group’s Pathfinder platform is designed to provide super funds and their members with a total picture of wealth supporting the retirement planning, income, and advice experience. By accessing a suite of integrated tools, digital services and product solutions, funds can tailor the retirement experience for different member needs, supporting the delivery of personalised strategies, sustainable incomes and better outcomes in retirement.

Developed by Link Group, in consultation with a network of key product providers and industry specialists, Pathfinder is a cloud-enabled flexible platform that uses data, insights and third-party integrations to support every step of the retirement journey.

Pathfinder helps super funds deliver on their retirement propositions by providing access to high quality, guaranteed retirement income products, without the substantial development and technology integration costs involved in onboarding new solutions.
