Together for Good is our global community engagement program focussed on improving educational opportunities and reducing inequality in our key regions – Australia, the UK and India. We believe that education is crucial to improving lives and building a sustainable future.
Through Together for Good, we partner with organisations that share our vision of creating opportunities for people to learn, grow and thrive. We provide them with financial support and in-kind donations, and promote employee fundraising and volunteering.
All employees have access to volunteering leave to support our key partners, or to contribute their skills and expertise to other causes they are passionate about.
By investing in our communities, we aim to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of people who face barriers to education and employment, and to contribute to the social and economic development of the regions in which we operate.

AUSTRALIA
Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN)
ABCN brings businesses and schools together to address educational disparity. They connect volunteers from member companies like MUFG Pension & Market Services with students from low socio-economic backgrounds to provide fun, workplace-based mentoring programs that develop students’ confidence, skills and aspirations vital for thriving in the workplace of the future.
As a global, digitally enabled business, we are particularly proud to support the development of STEM skills through ABCN’s programs, and to expose students to a range of technology-related career options in our offices. We were proud to join the network in 2024 and look forward to building a successful long-term partnership.
UNITED KINGDOM
Young Enterprise
Young Enterprise is national charity that motivates young people to succeed in the changing world of work by equipping them with the work skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. Their financial capability and entrepreneurship education programmes help up to 500,000 young people each year learn the vital skills needed to earn and look after their money.
MUFG Pension & Market Services has been a partner of Young Enterprise since 2021, supporting their mission of empowering young people to discover, develop and celebrate their skills and potential.

INDIA
SPRJ Kanyashala Trust
SPRJ Kanyashala Trust works to educate, empower, and enrich the lives of underprivileged girls in Mumbai. They provide free and subsidised education from pre-school to post-graduate college to more than 7000 girls, as well as food, clothing and medical care to ensure the students and their families can grow and thrive.
We have been a proud supporter of SPRJ Kanyashala Trust for several years, most recently providing funding for a new, fully-equipped computer lab to help build digital literacy skills and prepare students for the workforce once they graduate.

Nasscom Foundation
Nasscom Foundation is the social arm of the IT industry body Nasscom, that works to leverage technology for good. Its three core focus areas are digital literacy, skill development and employability, and supporting female entrepreneurship.
Through our partnership we support the Foundation’s training and skill development programs, particularly for women and for marginalised youth, equipping them with both the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in the workforce. We also provide employment opportunities for graduates of these programs in our Mumbai office.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a cultural and educational organisation with a focus on promoting Indian culture and values. It operates through local centers, called Kendras, spread across India, and delivers quality education to primary and secondary students, particularly to vulnerable families in remote village areas.
MUFG Pension & Market Services supports the Puthucode Kendra in the state of Kerala, which provides education to 1000 students in the surrounding area. They also offer free training for young people through the Gandhi Institute of Computer Education and Information Technology at Puthucode to equip them with the skills and confidence to fulfil their future aspirations.

South Indian Education Society (SIES)
SIES is one of the oldest educational trusts in India, with a focus on quality and excellence in education. It is active in all levels of formal education – primary, secondary, undergraduate and post graduate levels.
As a partner of SIES, we support their mission to shape young minds in their formative years to become confident citizens.
Pramukh Swami Vocational Training Centre (PSVTC)
PSVTC seeks to empower disadvantaged and marginalised youth who face unemployment and insecure working conditions, particularly those in remote areas and tribal zones. By investing in education, they hope to improve the quality for these young people and their families and contribute to broader socio-economic growth across India.
Our contributions to PSVTC help to provide more educational and career opportunities for tribal youth including vocational training and development and job placement support. We are proud to partner with them to empower students through education and prepare them for a brighter future.
